Latest News 09-06-2008: Castor Parish Council have been doing tremendous work regarding the Clay Lane application. One key event was a meeting at the beginning of May that they organised with Paul Rossington, Head of Planning at Peterborough City Council. The meeting was held on-site and Paul Rossington saw first hand the traffic issues surrounding The Green and the junction with Peterborough Road. He also began to understand the local issues surrounding housing density and the elevated position of the site. Castor News understands from a reliable source that Paul Rossington has intervened personally in the planning process and has, amongst other things, instructed the traffic experts at the council to carry out a full of re-evaluation of the area. As a result, the application is unlikely to go to Planning Committee until September at the earliest. 16-05-2008: A full update has been published on Castor News.
