Castor & Ailsworth Evergreen Club The Evergreen Club of Castor & Ailsworth is a group of about eighty men and women of retirement age. There are no compulsory activities and the emphasis is on making friends. They meet every two weeks at the village hall from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and play whist, scrabble, dominoes, bingo and what ever else they would like to do.Each afternoon ends with tea and biscuits. Lifts are always available for those with walking difficulties. Wheelchairs and other aids are also available for short term loan. From March to September there are monthly coach outings to various parts of the country to places of interest all at very reasonable prices. We always welcome newcomers and its a wonderful place to make friends. | Membership Details If you would like to consider joining the Evergreens then just come along to one of our meetings. Annual Membership is £6.00 We ask for 50p at each meeting to cover tea and a raffle. Membership is only open to residents of Ailsworth, Castor, Marholm, Sutton and Upton.
