The Prince of Wales Feathers

This excellent local pub is run by Si and Kay who became licensees in July 2006. The aim is to retain the character and traditional atmosphere, providing a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
The Prince of Wales Feathers continues to offer an extensive range of Real Ales, as well as premium lagers and excellent wines. Additionally we have started to introduce a range of Belgian and German bottled beers, and we now have Liefmans Frambozen (raspberry beer) and real cider & perry on draught. The Village Hall, Castor

A Village Hall with licensed capacity for up to 160 people, primarily for use by the villagers of the Parish, it is available for hire by anyone, complying with our booking policies. The Church of St Kyneburgha

Castor Church has been the site of Christian Worship since the 4th Century and the ancient church of St Kyneburgha recognized by many as in the top 100 of the tens of thousands of churches in England. We have a full range of services, the main service being the Sunday Sung Eucharist at 10.15am. Matins and Evensong are said daily in the church at 7.30am and 6pm. We have a choir, bellringers, handbell-ringers, Beavers, and Sunday School. We have a range of youth activities including a recently-started St John Ambulance unit. The lovely modern adjacent Church Hall, (the Cedar Centre) is available for use by community groups and for private use. St Michael & All Angels, Sutton

This ancient church, dating from the 12th century was built as a chapel-of-ease to Castor St Kyneburgha for the benefit of the villagers of Sutton and to serve the Peterborough Abbey grange farm and manor in the village. For more information visit the Church Of England Website.

St John the Baptist, Upton

This ancient chapel-of-ease was built as a daughter church to Castor St Kyneburgha in AD1120 and still shares the same parish priest. The church is set in the fields to the east of Upton village, a 100 yards from King Street, the old Roman road from Castor to Lincoln. A service is held here monthly and there is a very popular candle-lit carol service here at 6pm on Christmas Eve. For more information visit the Church Of England Website.

The Cedar Centre
